Square Two is a free online and mobile resource for formerly incarcerated residents of Mercer County, providing searchable, up-to-date information about available resources in the areas of employment, education, housing, identification, health, and family. Square Two is a collaboration of the Center for Community Engaged Learning & Research and the Mercer County Reentry Task Force and was developed by students and faculty in The College of New Jersey’s Interactive Multimedia department. The initial bank of resources and information was gathered from the New Jersey Department of Corrections’ Mercer County SmartBook, a manual created by the Office of Transitional Services for their social service staff.

Square Two is a living, democratic document. Service providers offering new programs, moving to a different location, or updating contact information are encouraged to contact taskforce@mercerrentry.org.
